Nicky Menakaya is a professional accountant, a Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), member of Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT). She is Strategic Financial Management consultant, Trainer, lecturer, writer and financial health coach. Her business functions as an Interface helping companies to gain clarity and be in a position to increase the profitability and achieve business goals.

Nicky gained extensive and versatile experience in financial management over three decades, working in various positions in Commerce, Industry and in Corporate Civil service. She started her career in a retail banking before becoming a successful professional Accountant. She gained entrepreneurial experience as an Interface Accountant working in Financial Systems Implementation projects. It’s very important to Nicky that every non-finance business manager and professional have Clarity, Confidence and Contentment to talk about their business numbers at any level.

Nicky has worked extensively as a financial management support consultant in various institutions across the United Kingdom, both in corporate commercial establishments- from Local Authorities to Academic institutions, in Accounting and Financial systems implementations. She is experienced in helping to build awareness with detailed understanding around business financial drivers, addressing new operational initiatives that support business change.

Nicky has drawn on her experience of working with corporate managers, professionals in various institutions to write this book. She found the common questions that are always asked, She has written a book that provides the background to enable managers to fully understand the numbers and finances of their business, the book is written jargon free, in simple basic language and can be read as a story to appreciate the background of the business numbers.

Nicky live in Essex, United Kingdom with her family, devotes time to serve non-profit organizations in Non-Executive Director capacity, Board member, Treasurer, Team warden in her local Gray’s Thurrock Team Ministry and a member of the Parochial Church Council (PCC).

As a busy mum, with any spare time, Nicky enjoys Theatre and West end shows.
